as long as we cannot freely edit the layout for the pre-made overlays (like piano overlay etc.) - is it possible to somehow disable overlay detection, so I can freely create layouts via the “no overlay” option?
Hello, thank you for contacting us. Currently we do not have an option to disable Overlay detection and load the Innovator’s Overlay. Overlay detection is disabled when you use the API, but MIDI is also disabled. Additionally, you can switch the No Overlay mode to Innovator’s so that it loads your custom map without an Overlay. We understand your specific use case, however, and will look into it in further detail.
Ok. Not a big thing as we can always use the overlay layout for custom stuff. Would just been nice in this particular case as the piano overlay fits quite well and has better matching haptic feedback in this case.
