Harmony, Inversion, Root

Suppose I wanted to design a playing surface for chords where one hand was in control of harmony and inversion while the other hand was in control of pitch (root note).

Would the current capabilities of Morph and the Sensel App allow this?

If not, I would suggest that thoughts about what changes would be needed to support such an instrument could be a fruitful path for speculation, design, and implementation.

If you’ve tried to implement it, I think you know the answer.

All is not lost, however. The morph can output midi notes, keystrokes, etc. And once those are in your computer, you could use any number of technologies to transform those outputs into what you’re describing.
