Some time back I reported that even when interacting with the bare surface (i.e no overlay), velocity response exhibited strange intermittent behaviour where some taps would register at full velocity randomly even though the actual intensity was much lower. This is true even if the sensitivity settings are changed.

This pretty much makes the surface unplayable as e.g a piano keyboard - I assume we’re looking at a firmware issue - is there any timeframe for addressing this?
I surmise that the poster’s theory regarding time sampling is related to this issue - it definitely feels like that kind of a bug.
