Overlay Design: Simple Dual XY+Z Pad by RJD

Hi There! First custom thingee, expressly built for Ableton Live 10 and a Sensel Morph.
In theory, this should work with Live Standard, and possibly Live Lite; let me know if it doesn’t work for you. The file is self-contained and does not use any third party plugins.

On the Left:
The small buttons at the top send a momentary CC20, CC21, or CC22, used for when you define the Ableton Live Custom MIDI assignments (if you have to).
The XYZ pad is mapped to
CC20 for X,
CC21 for Y, and
CC22 for Z (aftertouch).
It says “XYZ Off” as it’s set to MIDI Notes = None (Off).

On the Right:
The small buttons at the top send a momentary CC23, CC24, or CC25, used for when you define the Ableton Live Custom MIDI assignments (if you have to).
The XYZ pad is mapped to
CC23 for X,
CC24 for Y, and
CC25 for Z (aftertouch).
It says “XYZ Off” as it’s set to MIDI Notes = None (Off).

It won’t matter if you accidentally press any of the upper buttons while playing, since you will have already defined them (or already have been defined if the project file opens correctly).

The way I was playing it was: Morph for the left hand, my midi keyboard played by the left and right hand (with a sustain pedal to taste).
You really don’t need the midi keyboard; you could use midi clips or an arp/sequencer. YMMV.

Read the PDF for more details and screenshots and go from there!
It’s just a simple application but fun to tinker with.
