When I use the Max external, there are pauses when no updates come out of it. After a second or so, it restarts. Alternatively, taking my finger off and putting it on again often helps (but not always). Any thoughts?
I wonder if the object’s data throughput is not too high. On my laptop I’ve had USB conflicts with my soundcard and the external even froze my computer completely once or twice. So currently I am back to the Inventor’s kit connected to a Teensy microcontroller. In any case I do not know if the issue comes from the Sensel API or from the sensel external. The external could probably be less demanding if the data output could be restricted to a selection (you might not need to track 10 fingers all the time for instance, or all the possible data).
